What if this whole thing was upside down and was a jig that fit onto your table router, or was built more like a table router with the bit facing upward? Then you could "slide down" most any length piece of wood, rather than this small block?

It sure wouldn't suck if they'd just give us mounting sockets on our routers! This tempts me to first mod my router itself to have them... Hmm...

Great setup! I got the MDF+foam weather stripping idea from Travis as well. It works great and far easier to manage than the paver method. Great idea with all the QR codes, implementing that in my mini farm for sure!

Nicely done, and a real confidence-builder! I just might walk right out and check my 2013 Edge's filter...9800 miles after 11 years. I don't get out much anymore, but with the pine pollen here in CO, it might just need a "blowing out"!

I'm installing some similar metal wood rack shelving. My big concern has been drilling huge bolts into the construction frame wood of the shed. Isn't that a concern? The frame wood is not covered with drywall/ exposed, so I add 2 x 4 pieces to attach to the building construction wood, & then the lag bolts into the added 2 x 4. But now I see the metal rack is not wall supported, so I have to add more support somehow. It all started with concern with installing large lag bolts into the construction beams, because wood adds up to being so heavy

I had a bunch of scrap wood that I needed to hang on the wall, but after I used it to build this, I had no more scrap! 😅

Got any video of that rack with all the printers going? Just bought the same rack and I wanted to see what the shake was like. My main concern is I want to put a Resin printer on the bottom shelf, and a 2 Bambu X1C on the mid shelf. Curious if the Vibration from the X1C would cause any issue to the Resin Vat
